Physical Activity and the Built Environment Interest Group

The Physical Activity and the Built Environment Interest Group is focused on increasing physical activity for transportation and leisure through improvements to the built environment (streets, sidewalks, green space, etc.). Our goal is to connect advocates, practitioners, policy makers, and others to learn and exchange best practices and evidence-based interventions that improve access to safe opportunities for physical activity.

Meetings will include conversations with experts in the field, group discussions on common interests, and progress on relevant projects.
